Hiplife Highlife singer Kofi Kinaata has been announced as the winner of the Best Songwriter of the year at the 22nd edition Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Kofi Kinaata won this award for the third time in a row and the fourth time in 5 years with his hit song ‘Behind The Scenes’.
The song after its release in the year under review went viral in the Ghanaian media space and in the diaspora.
Kofi Kinaata couple of days ago revealed that he is very confident he will win the award this year as well urging his fans to keep on voting for him in the other categories he was nominated for as well.
He beat some great song writers like Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Adina, Epixode and Abiana to win the award for the category.
