He made this unconfirmed claims during the previous episode on UTV’s United Showbiz segment hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown. According to him, he’s got an intel indicating the musician is currently engaged in some misunderstanding with his record label, owned by Richie Mensah.

Although Kwame A-Plus was not very certain about his claims, he advised the one-time artiste of the year at the VGMAs to form a solid team that would handle his music works before finally parting ways with the record label.

He also acknowledged the fact that the singer aims at spreading his wings and gaining his independence from his record label, hence taking this drastic decision.

In reaction to that, DJ Slim who claims to have a personal relationship with Kuami Eugene stated that Kuami Eugene has never nurtured such thoughts of exiting the record label.

According to him, he has a rapport with the management of Lynx Entertainment and Kuami Eugene to the extent that they sometimes joke with each other and he can confirm that the claims made by Kwame A-Plus holds no substance and should be disregarded.
