Celebrated Highlife artiste, Kwabena Kwabena rose to prominence thanks to Kontihene when he the latter featured him his songs some years ago. It’s even safe to say Kontihene discovered him and made what he is today.
The award-winning artiste provided vocals to most of Kontihene’s hit songs so we believe they the best of friends.
On the contrary and rather shockingly Kontihene, born Emmanuel Nana Appiah Boateng has claimed Kwabena Kwabena is not his friend like we are thought.
He said:
“Kwabena Kwabena has never been my friend. I worked with him and that was the end of the game. He doesn’t know me well to be a friend. We spent more than a year or two together. I am not sure. We only worked together. He was not my friend…” he maintained.
“I expect more from him to be on a bigger level. I expect him to go beyond boundaries. I expected him to rise from where I ended. I am not disappointed, its reality, lesson and experience.
I don’t have issues with him. That will be the last thing.”
