Kwesi Arthur, on the back of his historic BET nomination, has increased his charges astronomically and has notified event organizers to that effect.
The Tema-based rapper was nominated alongside other international artistes in the BET Viewers’ Choice category which he lost to Sjava of South Africa.
The nomination alone put him on the spotlight for several days and this invariably soared his brand. And to capitalize on this rare opportunity, the Grind Day himaker has increased his charges from ¢15,000 to ¢ 30,000.
This development was revealed by SaD1ck Assah who happens to be an event promoter and organizer based in Taloradi. According to him, the move by the artiste to double his price instantly is doesn’t auger well for his brand since this will distance him from his fans.
He further advised the young ones who are making waves, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, King Promise and the others to be considerate when charging for shows because they will not reign forever.
