This was a response to an interview the Takoradi-based singer Kofi Kinaata had with Graphic Showbiz over the weekend about the matters surrounding the disappearance of Hiplife/ Highlife musician Castro Da Destroyer.

Kofi Kinaata stated the State does not need to declare the musician dead if he doesn’t make a public appearance within the next 48 hours because the family of the ‘Bone Shaker’ hitmaker is already suffering from the disappearance of the musician.

He said although there has not been any sight of the musician for almost seven years now, he strongly believes he will definitely come back.

Rya commenting on the statement made by the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Songwriter of the Year stated the law is the law and regardless of the person involved, it needs to take its course.

She said if the law says a person should be pronounced dead if he/ she doesn’t make a public appearance in seven years after disappearance by the State, then it’s in the right direction for the State to declare Castro dead in the next 48 hours if he doesn’t make a public appearance.

Rya speaking as a pundit this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ show on Hitz FM hosted by Andy Dosty added that it’s about time the general public lay to rest the misconception they have about the disappearance of Castro.
