Ghanaian songstress, Deborah Owusu-Bonsu who is known in showbiz as Deborah Vanessa or Sister Deborah has labelled love to be a scam.

This suggests that she doesn’t believe in love. This comes after she was left heartbroken by his former fiancee, Medikal some years ago.

The two celebrities were so much involved in each other to the point that no one thought they would go their separate ways.

The musician was reacting to an initial tweet made by a Twitter user with the handle, @vee_theegoat when she labeled love as a scam.

The tweet by the tweep reads;

“I no longer believe in falling in love, I think it’s dumb“

Reacting to this, Deborah Vanessa wrote; “ebe scam sis…get money.”

The 36-year-old lady is not just a musician as she is also a television presenter, model, and academic. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and she also holds a Master’s Degree in Book/Journal Publishing from the University of the Arts London. 

She is the sister of Ghanaian musician Wanlov the Kubolor and prior to making a name in music, she did backing vocals and featured on a couple of songs. Her first hit song as a musician was ‘Uncle Obama’ and it caught the attention of CNN and BBC. This also earned her massive recognition as it gave her the opportunity to perform at the Glastonbury Festival 2013.
