Renowned Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has eulogized Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The eulogized the late renowned politician with her latest post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

Sharing a photo of Kwame Nkrumah, she shared one of the quotes of the politician which reads;

” “As far as I am concerned,I am in the knowledge that death can never extinguish the torch which I have lit in Ghana and Africa. Long after I am dead and gone,the light will continue to burn and be borne aloft,giving light and guidance to all people.” Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah”

Lydia’s post comes at a time when Ghanaians are celebrating the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day. The day is celebrated every September 21 which happens to be the birthday of the man who brought independence to Ghana. Before the NPP took over the affairs of the country, the day was known as the Founder’s Day, however, the current restructured things and made it the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day shifting the Founders Day to August 4.

If Kwame Nkrumah was alive, today would have been 112 years. We would like to wish Ghanaians a Happy Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day celebration.
