At the congress, the delegates of the party voted to choose national leaders who will be leading the party for the next four years.

There were some surprises, especially in the general secretary election where the incumbent general secretary, John Boadu lost to Justin Frimpong Kodua.

Taking to her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter, Lydia reacted to the outcome of the congress with the words;

“What happened at the #Npp Delegates Conference seems to be an indication that some politicians haven’t learnt much from the previous elections. If an election were solely up to ‘outlandish predictions’ so many of you wouldn’t have lost your seats in 2020. Ah, what do I know..”

In an earlier post, the actress recounted how it took her several years to recover from a friendship heartbreak.

Her post was a reply to an earlier post that reads;

“Have you been so hurt by a friend that the pain has lasted a whole year?

In her reply, she wrote;

“Friendship heartbreaks are the worst; took me several years to recover from mine.”
