The two rapper have kept social media buzzing following some diss songs they released recently directed at each other’s camp. Lyrical Joe came in with “Baboon” which he claims was not a diss song to Amerado but the latter also came in with “Ponky Joe’ which was directed at Lyrical Joe.

Ghanaians on social media as anticipated for more diss songs from the two rappers as they prepare to judge who is better than the other.

In a recent Twitter Space Conversation with Kalyjay, Lyrical Joe has opened up on what caused his beef with Amerado. According to him, it all started when Amerado won the 3Music Best Rapper of the year and he expressed his sentiments about why his song was never crowned winner in that category.

He stated that his song has all the requirement to meet the criteria of the award scheme, yet Amerado was rather awarded instead of him. However, when he also won the VGMA Rapper of the year, Amerado dropped a song with Eno Barony and some of his lines sounded like a shot to his camp.

Lyrical Joe stated that he granted an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon to react to Amerado’s tantrums the same day Amerado planned on releasing his “Obiaa Boa” song and the latter presumed that he granted the interview on that day just to mess up the release of his song by diverting the attention of Ghanaians to himself.

Hence, Amerado who was agitated by Lyrical Joe’s reaction to his tantrums in Eno Barony’s song went ahead to record a proper diss song for him and released it on his birthday.
