In a previous directive from Nana Akufo Addo and signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency Eugene Arhin, the minister was asked to resign or be fired for subjecting the NPP to barrage of criticisms and obviously risking the lives of the general public with his careless attitude.

Hon Ahenkorah was in isolation centre days ago after he tested positive for Coronavirus. Surprisingly he ‘sneaked’ out to visit registration centres in Tema West where he’s a Member of Parliament(MP). His action attracted backlash from social and mainstream media after he himself confirmed that indeed he went to check proceedings at the centres.

Now the main reason why he has been forced through the exit door is the fact that his action could cast a huge dent on the chances of the NPP in the build up to this year’s election scheduled for December.
