Gusto started playing football with AS Villefontaine in 2012. He played the youth football with the club for three years and moved to Bourgoin-Jallieu where he played for only a year before joining Olympique Lyonnais in 2016.
Gusto signed his first professional contract with Lyon after making some contributions with the team B. He made his first appearance for the French club on 24th January 2021, replacing Bruno Guimarães on the 90th minute of a 5–0 Ligue 1 away win against their Derby du Rhône rivals of Saint-Étienne.
