Controversial Ghanaian clergyman, Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Kumchacha has said that all marriages should be on a contract basis, renewable every five years.

According to the man of God, the laws of Ghana should enact laws where rapists and people who practice incest will be castrated instead of going to going to jail.

Speaking in an interview on Onua TV’s Bribri Gye Gye Wo show with Mna Gucci on Thursday, June 2nd, the man of God was contributing to the death sentence given to the husband of late Nigeria gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu.

He stated that marriage should not a “forever” thing but should be based on contracts in order or partners to decide whether to renew their marriages or not after a particular time.

“If I had the opportunity, I would plead with God to make marriage contractual. It should be limited to a five-year term subject to renewal.”

Regarding the issue of rape and incest, he said: “It is foolishness to engage in incest. What at all will make one engage in incest, having sex with your own child. We need a law that will say we should castrate men who sleep with their own children.”
