Ghanaian rapper, Samuel Adu Frimpong, well known as Medikal has finally opened up on why he instantly unfollowed most of his colleague musicians on social media moments after he was released from prison.

Recall, the rapper was arrested after he was caught brandishing a gun in a viral video sighted on social media. He was arraigned before the court and was remanded into police custody for five days.

He was later granted a GHc100,000 bail with on surety. He made an appearance before the court once again and his case was adjourned to Dec.7. Upon his appearance in court on the said date, the case was again adjourned to January 25th, 2022.

Shortly after that, Medikal whom most people believed had been betrayed by some of his colleagues on the account that they never supported and showed him, love, during his darkest times unfollowed almost everyone on Instagram.

Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex, Medikal stated that he was not disappointed nor was he mad at any of his colleagues for not supporting him when he was in prison.

According to him, he wanted to shift his attention off social media for sometime because he was going through a lot of psychological trauma and didn’t want to engage in any interaction on social media.
