Rapper Meek Mill’s murderous lyrics are at the centre of a new lawsuit filed by the family of a man shot and killed at a gig in December (16).

A lawyer representing Travis Ward’s family claims the hip hop star’s hardcore lyrics attracted thugs to his Oakdale Theatre concert in Wallingford, Connecticut – and violence was inevitable.

After the show four people were shot outside the venue. Two men died.Ward’s family members are suing Meek Mill and Oakdale bosses, insisting they should have provided better security.

The lawsuit quotes the lyrics of Meek’s track Tony Montana (Freestyle), in which the rapper boasts about his double digit “body count”.
