Nobody saw this coming- that a deadly disease can erupt all of a sudden and rudely disrupt the normalcy of life. Unfortunately that’s the wave of bad news the novel coronavirus, also referred to as Covid-19 brought us.

In the midst of the prevailing Covid-19 grounding all activities to a halt and all the lockdown that came with it, the wedding of Ghanaian businessman, Emmanuel Kofi Darwin and his adorable wife, Rosella Tania Labitan hanged in a balance.

However, a determined Kofi Darwin told www.Ghgossip.com in an exclusive interview that he didn’t want the pandemic to be an impediment as far as getting married to his soul mate was concerned.

The traditional wedding which was scheduled for March 21, 2020 was rescheduled to March 21 weeks after the first lockdown was imposed by the President Nana Akufo Addo.

It was then left with the wedding but unfortunately, the rising cases of Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdown halted the plans of the lovely. Darwin said he was bent on going ahead with the wedding so he and his better half opted for Virtual wedding which was to take place in Benin, where his wife comes from.

Twenty-five (25) family members were supposed to travel to Benin for the occasion in accordance with social distancing but they all ‘pulled out’, in the face of the risk involved.

So Darwin arrived in Benin in the company of his uncle. They had a virtual wedding using the Zoom App. They were joined by other family members online from different parts of the world and it was so beautiful.
