Some African women are making a name for themselves recently and one of such people is Mozambique’s first female commercial pilot.

She is known as Captain Admira Antonio and she made history for herself as she became a commercial pilot at the age of 29 in 2018.

At that time, she commanded a 50 passenger LAM Mozambique Airlines plane and she she had reached a total of 3,500 flying hours and has successfully satisfied all the requirements to qualify as commander.

This was shared on social media by the Africa Facts Zone. The post made reads;

“In 2018, Captain Admira Antonio became Mozambique’s first female Commercial Pilot at the age of 29.

She commanded a 50 passenger LAM Mozambique Airlines plane.

As at 2018, she had reached the 3,500 flying hours requirement to qualify as commander.”
