According to him, it was inappropriate for the board members of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) to have renewed Milovan Rajevac’s contract as head of the national team on the account that he has been inactive since 2017 until date.

Dan Kweku Yeboah speaking with Kwame Nkrumah Tekesia on Okay FM’s morning show stated that Milovan Rajevac had already rejected Ghana’s offer to coach the national team some years ago, saying the Qatar football association had approached him with a juicy deal to coach their national team.

He intimated that Ghana helped Milovan Rajevac to improve his profile as a coach and bettered his chances of being called by big teams, yet he snubbed Ghana’s officials after he was tasked to coach the team again just because another team had approached him with a juicy offer.

Dan Kweku Yeboah stated that for Milovan to have snubbed Ghana upon their approach was enough for them to have disassociated themselves from him entirely, yet he was tasked again to coach the team for the African Cup of Nations.

He further stated that Milovan Rajevan has resigned from most of the teams he coached after Ghana and was sacked by some other teams, and he has been inactive since 2017 to date, hence GFA’s move to get him back was ineffectual.

Meanwhile, Milovan Rajevac has revealed that he will not be resigning as coach of the national team because he aims at taking them to the world cup.
