Mohamed Salah Hamed Mahrous Ghaly, popularly known as Mo Salah, is a professional Egyptian footballer who plays in the English Premier League.

Mo Salah started his professional career in 2009-2010 when he joined Al Mokawloon Al Arab in the Egyptian Premier League. He spent 3 years in his home club and produced amazingly his stay that paved the way for a move to the Swiss Super League. He managed to score 12 goals in his 44 appearances for the Egyptian club.

Salah joined Basel for 2 seasons in the Swiss Super League. After scoring 20 goals in 79 appearances, he was then signed by The Pride of London, Chelsea.
He spent 2 years at Chelsea but he hardly had play time so went out on loan deals. He made 19 appearances and scored only 2 goals for the London club.

He spent a year at Fiorentina as a loan player and later a year at Roma as a loan player before signing for Roma as a full-time player. His 2 years at Roma gave him 83 appearances with 34 goals to his name which helped generate a move back to the English Premier League.
