This comes after Jay Foley was asked to share his thoughts on the statement made by the young rapper in an interview on TV3 with MzGee a couple of days ago that he also made British rapper Stormzy more popular in Ghana after his collaboration with him on the remix version of the ‘Sore; song.

Responding to the host of the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show aired on Accra-based Hitz FM, renowned disc jockey and rapper Andy Dosty, Jay Foley stated most people who are bashing the rapper are coming from a moral point of view.

He said as Ghanaians, we are thought to respect our elders and the people who have experience in certain situations or levels than us so as applied in the music industry. He added that the likes of Sarkodie can’t speak ‘ill’ about a rapper like Obrafour because the music industry regards Obrafour as a legend who did it before Sarkodie.

The former 4Syte TV host continued that people who are insisting the statement by Yaw Tog is wrong is coming from the point that, Stormzy was a global star before his collaboration with the young act on the ‘Sore’ remix and that Yaw Tog has to give him the needed respect for that by not saying he also made him more popular in Ghana even if what he’s saying is true.

He said Yaw Tog need to understand the fact that, the benefits he got from that collaboration with Stormzy is way bigger than what Stormzy got in return and need to respect that.
