Ghanaian artiste Mr Drew has issued an apology to Nigerian-American singer, Rotimi after being accused of song theft.
Drew has been accused of stealing Rotimi’s song ‘Love Riddim’ and remaking it ‘Eat’ featuring Stonebwoy. Drew’s song has been taken off all streaming platforms including YouTube.
“I want to say sorry for that and i want to apologise generally to the whole of Ghana,” he said on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
However he insisted that he did not steal the song, adding that ‘Eat’ was a cover of Love Riddim and not a remake nor did he have the intention to infringe on someone’s right.
