Ghanaian rapper and AMG Bey ond Kontrol superstar, Medikal
is back with another outstanding record captioned; “Accra”.
This latest release owes production credit to Unkle Beatz. “Accra” happens to be the official follow up to his previous project; “Ama” which has garnered over 3,000 views on streaming platform, SoundCloud.
Medikal, real name Samuel Adu Frimpong joined Criss Waddle’s Arab Money Gang, AMG in 2010. He won the best discovery video in the MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards in 2016.
Medikal was one of the highest nominated artists alongside Sarkodie in the Ghana Music Awards in 2017. He bagged IARA best African music artist in 2018.
Medikal has released a number of songs including; Forever My Love featuring Bisa Kdei, Per Kakra featuring Criss Waddle, Confirm and Confirm Remix featuring Sarkodie, just to mention a few.
Accoring to Medikal, he’s inspired by Lil Wayne, Skepta, Sarkodie, Criss Waddle, Pae Dae and Yaa Pono. He has 4 studio albums to his credit; Medikation (2013), Disturbation (2017), The Plug EP(2019) and Island (2020).
