According to him, Reggie Zippy should have been mindful of his utterances while pouring out his sentiments about industry matters.

George Quaye stated that musicians are supposed to encourage each other to excel in their field rather than discouraging them just because the changes he wishes to see in the industry are not there.

He said that Reggie’s call for support from the government and other music agencies should not deter upcoming musicians from achieving their goals in the industry.

According to him, Reggie Zippy should have used his platform to encourage upcoming musicians not to focus on music alone but should explore other sectors as well just incase the music doesn’t yield the required income as expected.

He cited examples using Reggie Rockstone who runs a lounge as well as sells Waakye aside from music. He also made mention of the CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, D Black who owns a club and other businesses aside from his record label.

Recall, Reggie took to Facebook to advise upcoming musicians to quit music and focus on other businesses because it is the second most dangerous job aside from arm robbery.

He wrote; “If you’re an upcoming Ghanaian music artist reading this post right now, I WANT YOU TO QUIT DOING MUSIC IN GHANA and go and learn a trade, go get some new vocational skills like Carpentry, Masonry, Hairdressing, Tailoring, or further your education in law, accounting, Engineering., Marketing or in Science.

Take my advice today and you will thank me in 10years time cuz apart from ARMED ROBBERY, doing music in Ghana is the 2nd most dangerous job you can ever do.

The GOVERNMENT doesn’t give a SHIT about you, GHAMRO will never work for YOU, Musigha is just for decoration and 99% of event organizers cannot pay you the thousands of dollars you expect now cuz they’re all bleeding especially after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Please take my advice and go and find a proper job to do because most of your favorite celebrities are surviving by crazy means and unconventional strategies that you may not have the heart to endure.”
