American rapper and songwriter, Chance The Rapper, real name Chancelor Johnathan Bennett has recounted his first experience when he entered a Ghanaian nightclub upon his first trip to the country.

In an interview with Kojo Manuel, Chance The Rapper revealed that he was taken to The Area Bar in Accra immediately after he dropped his luggage at the hotel where he lodged.
He revealed that he was enjoying the music and interacting with people in the nightclub when suddenly, there was a blackout in the club and the music stopped. He was thrown into a state of confusion and disorientation since he was never experiencing such an event.
However, almost all the people in the nightclub started singing one of Burna Boy’s most popular tunes and they kept on singing until the power was restored.
Chance The Rapper touching on his experience in Ghana stated that he was thrilled with the connection he made with his ancestral root and interacted with the culture and got to know about the African history and its patrons.

In other news, prominent American singer, Shaffer Chimere Smith, widely known as Ne-Yo has reportedly been dumped by his wife, Crystal Smith over alleged cheating allegations.
This comes barely three-months after the couple renewed their marriage vows. Crystal is reported to have found out about her husband’s infidelity and as a result of that, ended their seven-years marriage.
In a post shared by Crystal on her Instagram page, she revealed that she has been deceived and lied to for eight years by her husband who has been cheating on him with numerous without any protection or remorsefulness.
She stated that it will be insane for her to accept that things are very calm in their marriage, adding that she will no longer cover up her wounds to the public as she spills the beans about her husband’s infidelity.
She added that she suffered and wasted years in the marriage and only gained three beautiful children with the musician.
