Ghanaian actress and social media personality, Rosemond Alade Brown, widely known as Akuapem Poloo has recounted how she was being blackmailed by her former manager after their separation.

Speaking in an interview with the lifestyle & celebrity blogger, Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Akuapem Poloo stated that her former manager parted ways with her following the chemistry that ensued between her and the American rapper, Cardi B when she came to Ghana.
She said that after Cardi B left the country, she tried reaching out to her manager but all her efforts proved abortive. hence she presumed their contract has been terminated.
Akuapem Poloo said that she was subjected to a lot of uncertainties to the extent that her former manager had to bribe her friend to take a naked video of her and send it to him.
She claims she was being blackmailed by her former manager and since she failed to do their bidding, he deliberately leaked the obscene material on social media just to tarnish her image to her fans.
She said that the situation has taught her a valuable lesson in life to be careful of who she allows into her life, especially friends. She said that anytime someone approaches her to be her friend, she recounts how her friend betrayed her, hence she is careful with the kinds of friends she has.
