One of the most popular Naija musical artists and songwriters in Nigeria is Davido. David has won the love of the public with his back-to-back hit songs and his series of Awards.
Popular Nigerian American musician David Adedeji Adeleke known widely as Davido has taken to his Instagram story to praise God over the massive views he pulled on his music video titled “Jowo”.

It would be recalled that out of the twenty participants that took part in last year’s Big Brother Naija season six, the only one Davido wanted to work with was Rebecca Nengi Hampson, also simply referred to as Nengi. The duo became close friends and started working on a music video.
Their closeness caused massive reactions and also attracted different opinions about them. While some said Davido and Nengi were having something more than a working relationship, others also claim the two had already gotten into bed. This caused Davido and Nengi to unfollow each other on social media.
In a new development, Davido has shared on his page his new success and praised God after his music video “Jowo” reached another milestone. Davido released his album titled “A Better Time” a few months ago. Jowo was one of the tracks on the album he released. Jowo was one of the most streamed songs and was later turned into a music video.

The Jowo music video featured the former Big Brother Naija housemate Nengi. The music video and the collaboration between Davido and the reality star Nengi came out a success. The music video of Jowo was released four months ago, December 4th, 2020 and has massively hit over 25 million views on YouTube.
