Ghanaian comedian Daniel Selassi known well as Khemikal has announced his comeback on the stage to do what he does best after a year of solitude.
The comedian has disclosed in a recent interview with NYDJ the reason why he left the entertainment screens for a year and what happened to him.

According to Comedian Khemical, he had to go into hiding because he lost his life savings following the financial crisis of the gold dealership and investment firm, MenzGold. The host questioned Khemical about how the collapse of MenzGold forced him to go into hiding.
He said, “It was because of the MenzGold situation that I went into hiding. I experienced a financial setback and had to take a break…”
The comedian stated that during his dilemma, his wife was responsible for pushing him hard to start all over and return to comedy.

“I was attempting to strike a balance. Because software engineering was pushing me in one direction and comedy was attempting to draw my attention in another, but God being so kind, I married and she was able to assist me in finding that balance. I was on the verge of giving up until she encouraged me to continue”, he shared.
