Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Sista Afia, real name Francisca Gawugah has revealed that some of her music videos were funded by her mother.

Sista Afia who revealed earlier that she has not been signed on any record label and has no one investing in her apart from her family revealed that some of her music video fees were paid by her mother.

Speaking in an interview on the Daybreak Hitz segment wit h Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Sista Afia revealed that her “Jeje” music video was funded by her mother as well as that of her most recent popular song “Asuoden” among other music videos she has shot in the past.

She also added that the fact that some of her music videos are being funded by her mother and family doesn’t mean she is a spoilt child because she works hard for herself.

“My mother sometimes pays for my music video fees. She paid for ‘Jeje’ and ‘Asuoden’, among others. I am not a spoiled child. I have always worked for myself“, she said.

In other news, showbiz pundit, Martinezz on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz segment has jumped to the defense of the Ghanaian actress and screen-goddess, Nana Ama Mcbrown following numerous backlashes about her liposuction.

This comes after Nana Ama Mcbrown admitted to have undergone liposuction to enhance her body shape. She revealed that she is not ashamed to admit the fact that she has undergone surgery to gain her curvaceous body shape.

Reacting to the numerous backlashes, Nana Ama Mcbrown likened the body of a woman to that of a car that needs maintenance from time to time in order to keep it in shape. She stated that women also need maintenance in order to keep in shape.

She stated that irrespective of the fact that she is growing and still healthy and has all the resources she needs in life, she still need maintenance to appease her fans.

In reaction to the sentiments expressed by her critics, Martinezz speaking with Andy Dosty stated that the actress has done nothing wrong with enhancing her body shape.

He stated that she has committed no crime by undergoing surgery to enhance her body, hence Ghanaians should desist from attacking her.
