Veteran Ghanaian movie star and comedian, Alex Adu Kofi, popularly known as Agya Koo has revealed that due to his good works and proper portraying of good characters in his movies, some Ghanaian citizens in the USA are using his movies to nurture their kids.

He made this known after he was asked about his perception of the state of the current movie industry where the new crop of movie stars go to the extreme of showing obscene materials or nudity and even sometimes, slam each other just to gain fame.

Agya Koo in an interview with Boateng Ameyaw stated that it is just a matter of time before Ghanaians will react distastefully to such content, encouraging everyone else to stop patronizing them in order for their contents not to corrupt the young generation.

He stated that his good works always speak great things about him wherever he finds himself on the account that some people use his roles in some of the movies he acted to train up their kids.

He explained that he always feels overwhelmed and fulfilled when Ghanaian citizens living in America tell him that they use some of his movies to train up their kids. Agya Koo advised the younger generation especially those within the movie landscape to be cautious of the contents they put out there for public consumption.
