Ghanaian rap artist, Obibini has disclosed the reason why he is still under the Zylofon music record. According to him, it’s out of loyalty to the record label.

Recall that a number of artists in the music industry were signed on the Zylofon Music label when the Gold Company became the talk of the town.

Artists who were signed under the record label included Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, the late Ebony Reigns, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, Joyce Blessing, Becca, and others. However, after the company sunk due to the shutdown o the Gold company ‘Menzgold’ which was the motherboard of the other companies, most of the artists left the record label except Obibini and Kumi Guitar.

 “You can use the word loyalty and I still believe it is one of the greatest record labels even now. We are still on, the team is solidly behind me so we are still on.

“Technically, I am still with the label so that is what it is. It is difficult with everything going on so I don’t want to say they are the only ones suffering. Inasmuch as I am in the game, I am still enjoying myself. It is more like a passion than anything else. People are still doing rap and we are enjoying ourselves,” he stated.
