Songstress Mzbel has shockingly revealed why she has never won an award here in Ghana even though people outside Ghana have been appreciating her as she blames Abeiku Santana and the rest for that.
Mzbel in a video disclosed that she was awarded and appreciated outside Ghana for her song 16 years but then not in Ghana because people like Abeiku Santana sabotaged that claiming she didn’t pass through them or didn’t come to them first before releasing the song.
Mzbel added that everything Shatta Wale said about the industry is true and she has had her own share of the hypocrisy of some industry players. All this came as a result of a video in which Abeiku Santan disrespected Mzbel when Lasmid said he would love to have a feature with her someday.

Meanwhile, it would be recalled in 2020 that Mzbel in a post she made on her Instagram page stated that Sarkodie browned him after she reached out to him to get him feature on her song
According to Mzbel, Sarkodie stated that her song was too profane. She added that the rapper turned down her offer, stating her kind of songs will taint his music brand, hence he wouldn’t bow to her request.
““Sarkodie has browned me before, he turned down my offer to feature him. He said the song wasn’t good for his brand but he has done a lot of profane songs“, she said.
Well, in reaction to a tweet made by TicTac about his intention to have Sarkodie, the British rapper, Stormzy and Nigeria’s Oxlade on his song, Mzbel who seems not ready to let go of the past intimated that Sarkodie still owes her a verse.
