Celebrated Ghanaian actress, television presenter, and brand ambassador, Nana Ama Mcbrown has explained why she stopped her former eatery show “Abenshow”.

Nana Ama McBrown also known as Empress surprised Abeiku Santana on Live Radio yesterday when he was having his show, Okay FM’s drive time “Ekwanso dwodwo”. After her surprise at the studio, Abeiku Santana decided to interview her.

During the interview, Nana Ama explained why she stopped hosting “Abenshow” and started McBrown’s Kitchen. According to her, she already had plans of starting McBrown’s Kitchen when the younger brother of Apiatus, music producer, Mr. Osei called her and gave her the contract for Abenshow.

She said they met and discussed starting the Aben Show project and they even built a studio at Kwabena in regards to the project ahead. However due to the long-distance, anytime a personality is called for the show, they hesitate to.

Nana Ama McBrown disclosed that she regretted joining the team to host the show but after she episodes, she realized she had to continue because she has already committed herself.

She added that she decided to sign a 5 season contract so she stopped after the five-season contract. Then after a few months, she pushed hard her own show “Aben Show”.
