American singer and producer, Akon and Nollywood actress, Ini Edo have caused a stir on social media after they were spotted getting cozy.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share photos of herself vacationing on an island in Cape Verde and it is not known if the duo purposefully travelled there to spend some time together or they bumped into each other on the Island.
Ini Edo posed for photos with Akon and they looked wonderful together. Ini donned a pink hot dress whilst Akon rocked an all-white shorts and a white T shirt. As to how most celebrity relationships start, a simple photo that means no harm could have a deeper meaning to the parties involved.
In other news, Ini Edo recently hopped onto Ned Nwoko‘s Malaria Eradication Programme to lend her support to him.
It could be recalled that the renowned billionaire and philanthropist, Ned Nwoko launched this programme in 2019, however, the programme is yet to begin fully due to the effect of COVID-19.
The programme aims to eradicate Malaria from the shores of Africa starting with Nigeria and he even embarked on an expedition to the South Pole to create awareness.
Announcing Ini as the latest personality to join, Ned shared some photos of himself and Ini with the caption;
“We recognize the role of entertainers as community influencers for decisions and engagements. In line with that, nollywood actesss @iniedo lends her voice as she calls on all to support the fight to end malaria in Nigeria and Africa.”
