The couple is been sued by a woman Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty was charged and convicted for trying to rape in 1995 who says she’s being harassed by the couple and their people especially after declining Nicki’s offers to change her story.

Petty was supposed to register as a sex offender after he was involved in a first-degree attempted rape case involving a woman named Jennifer Hough, an act he failed to register of which he was recently arrested and charged on of which he took a plea deal.

According to legal documents, Hough is saying the couple has caused her some level of emotional distress with their direct and indirect actions of harassing her and threatened her not to speak about the incident.

In Hough’s legal documents, she says this all started when the female rapper started talking about how Petty was wrongfully accused about the whole case and how she (Hough) has changed her initial story back then when she and Petty started dating in 2018.

Hough says after Petty was arrested in March 2020 for failing to register as a sex offender, Nicki offered her a juicy deal of flying her and her whole family to Los Angeles in exchange for her to change her story.

She said after declining the offer, she and her family started receiving calls from strange people and uninvited guests in their home. She added that Nicki tried to bribe her with an amount of $500,000 through her brother just to again change her story.

Jennifer Hough is suing Nicki and Kenneth for intentional infliction of emotional distress, harassment, and witness intimidation as well as suing Petty for sexual assault related to the 1995 conviction.
