Bishop Daniel Obinim has announced that his church members are no longer obligated to give offertory at church as he has decided not to take offerings again.
Bishop Obinim in an earlier post claimed he sacked 72 pastors of his because he was spending more on them without any returns and now has disclosed that he’s no longer going to take offerings in any of his churches across the country.
According to him, no church member of his is obligated to give offerings anymore so after church service we just give whatever is from our heart to support the work of God so they can have money to pay for electricity and water bills among other little things.
Some netizens believe this is another strategy of Bishop Obinim to market himself and get more church members while others think taking off the offertory is not the best since now everyone will know how much you give to support the work of God.
