Nigerian singer, Benkrezt has decided not to blow his own trumpet but that of his colleague, Davido’s trumpet over his latest achievement.
Davido born David Adeleke performed the official FIFA World Cup song at the Draw in Qatar on Friday, April 1.
Davido appeared on the big stage where the World Cup draw was being held in Qatar ahead of the tournament in November to perform the official theme song titled titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together) Qatar 2022 alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA.
Davido expressed how honored he is to be featured on the Official FIFA World Cup song when it was released and now he has the privilege to perform it along with all those on the song and it’s just amazing seeing an African there.
Whilst some Nigerians and other African nationals were happy to see Davido on that big stage others downplayed his efforts but Benkrezt has jumped to Davido’s defense in the latest post.
According to Benkrezt, Davido has no need for validation and said Davido is ‘baad’.
