Popular Nigerian comedian and event MC, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, has taken to social media to celebrate BET award-winner, Davido, over his recent achievement.
Davido chalked a resounding feat on Friday, April 1, as he featured on the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together). alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA.
Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido noted he is honored with the feat, adding it is a win for Africa, however, it is interesting to know that most of his colleagues did not celebrate this monumental achievement.
In a recent post by Basketmouth on his Instagram page, Basketmouth pointed to the fact that Davido took Nigeria to the world cup with his appearance on the big stage and his feature in the song as the song will be played the entire duration of the football event.
Basketmouth also pointed to the fact that it is not suicidal for one to celebrate or support the other in the industry.
Basketmouth wrote: “In addition to his numerous achievements at such a young age, @davido has now single-handedly carried Nigeria to the World Cup.
“That alone should be applauded. Regardless of any other situation.Nobody go die if we support everybody.
