Reigning Dancehall Artiste of the year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), Epixode is currently at the mercy of trolls on social media following his claims of being the King of Dancehall after his big win.

During the 20201 edition of the VGMA, Epixode was crowned as the Dancehall Artiste of the year after beating the other competitors who were nominated in the category.
Well, for the past few years, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have always been expected to win the Dancehall Artiste of the year until they caused an unpleasant scene at the 2019 VGMAs which led to their indefinite suspension from participating in the award show.
Last year, Ras Kuuku managed to win the award but this year. Epixode seems to be the one standing tall among all the other nominees.
Feeling proud about his recent achievement, Epixode took to his social media to brag about the fact that he is the “King of Dancehall”.
Some trolls on social media have lambasted him for making such claims after winning the award for the first time especially in the absence of the top dogs, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Others also said that Epixode should give thanks to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards board and Charterhouse because the absence of the two frontrunners of Dancehall gave the board no other option than to settle for him.
