It was a mixed feeling when the Minister of Roads & Highways, Mr Kwasi Amoako-Attah, together with his entourage, Mrs May Obiri Yeboah ( Exec. Dir. National Road Safety Authority ), DCOP Paul Manly Awini ( Regional Police Commander ) visited victims of the gory accident at the Cape Coast Teaching hospital ( CCTH ) and the accident scene.

The minister, upon seeing the state of the victims and the number of people who have lost their lives, asked that all medical bills of both the dead and living be sent to government to be paid.

He asked the hospital authorities to send all bills through the Central Regional Minister, Mr Kwamena Duncan.

The Chief Executive Officer of CCTH, Dr. Eric Ngyedu has asked all monies paid by accident victims be returned to them once they are able to provide receipt including all those who would need surgery be compiled and submitted to the MP for payment to be done quickly.

Hope at last!
