Popular social media influencer and comedian Afia Schwar has expressed her disappointment in the New Patriotic Party over their ruling.
One of the celebrities who stood firm to campaign for the NPP is the female comedian Afia Schwar. She campaigned on platforms and also praised the Free SHS policy introduced by the government.

During the discussions on UTV’s United Showbiz, the host Nana Ama McBrown asked Afia her opinion on the government taking the country to International Monetary Fund (IMF). The issue of the IMF has been one of the debatable topics in Ghana.
A lot of people have questioned the government on why the country needs to lean on IMF for financial support when it has all the resources in the country. Most Ghanaians have accused the government of mismanagement of funds.
Afia Schwar sharing her opinion on the IMF support said that she is disappointed in the government because all those who campaigned for the government have been rendered useless and also embarrassed.
