Renowned Ghanaian Media personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti has heaped praises on Francisca Lamini of the Keta Senior High School for being the first female student to contest at the final stage of the National Science and Maths Quiz after eight years.

Keta Senior High School battled it out with the last year’s champions of the NSMQ, Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School, Legon, and the four-time winners of the competition, Prempeh College.

Ketesco represented by Bright Senyo Gadzo, Francisca Lamini, and James Lutterodt broke boundaries to become the first Volta-Oti team to contest in the grand finale of the National Science and Maths Quiz.

Although they never emerged as winners after losing to Prempeh College who is now five-time champions of the competition, Ketasco earned the admiration and respect of Ghanaians for their outstanding performance throughout the competition.

Francisca Lamini who was the only female among all the contestants received accolades from social media users for her courage and bravery in competing among men. She has become the first female student to make it to the finals after eight years.

Oheneyere Gifty Anti also took to her social media to express her admiration for the young lady for her outstanding and marvelous performance at the National Science and Maths Quiz.

She wrote on Facebook:

Just because she CAN!!WIN or not! FRANCISCA HAS MADE HISTORY!!!SHE is a Phenomenal Young Lady!!
