Ofori Amponsah Calls On Colleague Artistes To Boycott Award Schemes That Provide Only Plaques

Ghanaian veteran artist Ofori Amponsah has made a call on his colleagues to stand against award schemes that give only plaques.

He indicated that many awards don’t provide anything valuable but just the plaques hence they should boycott such awards

According to him is the influence of the artiste that makes organizers of these awards scheme make money from sponsors so musicians need to get their share

He explained that the focus on the only award has made many artists poor and they have to beg before they can feed themselves and their families.

Ofori Amponsah noted that he has already decided on the issue so he’s calling on his colleagues to rethink because they are making people rich while they live in poverty.
