Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer, Mercy Amoah, known within the showbiz circles as Ohemaa Mercy bagged an award for the Gospel act of the year at the 2022 Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
The 4th Ghana Entertainment Awards USA was held on Friday night, July 8 into the early hours of Saturday, July 9, 2022. The event marks its return from a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ghana Entertainment Awards USA is aimed at projecting the achievements of Ghanaian creatives and entertainers excelling in various crafts in and outside Ghana. The event also uses the platform to celebrate and promote Ghanaian talents.
This years edition took place at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York. Ohemaa Mercy beat Diana Hamilton, MOG Music, Obaapa Christy, Empress Gifty, Kobby Psalm, Joe Mettle, Perez Music and Akesse Brempong to win the coveted prize.
