Today marks Mothers day and rapper, Okyeame Kwame has shared this touching story of how his mother struggled to raise them.

He posted;

I have only two Children but I even sometimes get tired and wish to give up. My Mum raised 5 of Us with such dedication love and care that I wonder if She was a magician or a miracle worker. She woke up every day to cook, clean and get us ready for school before 6:30am every week day. She returned from work at 4:30pm every day to cook, watch us while we play and protect us from bullying Boys in Girls in Fante New Town.

She will feed us and assist Us to finish our homework without complaints and now beg our Papa to allow Us to watch some tv before we sleep. These were the daily troubles that we put our Mum through which were visible. Now invisible things like the little quarrels with Our father to put us in the right schools, buy us the trendy clothes and support our not soo necessary hubbies like Red Cross club membership dues etc . Most importantly She stayed with My Daddy’s Cowardly polygamous behaviour for sooo many years because She wanted Her Children to have balanced parenting.

Herrr! My Mum Alice Nsiah Bota is on top My Most spirited Human award list . She screamed at the stupidity in My heart. Whipped the nonsense out of My actions and Pray to God Constantly to keep Me safe and give me grace . I can Go on and on about My Mama because She is Special like every other loving Mama in the World working Hard to support their OWN . Love U Mum . Happy Mama Day. #HappyMothersDay
