A former Presidential staffer under HE John Dramani Mahama administration, Stan Dogbe has attacked the integrity of Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin II who revealed how the former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur was taken to the 37 military hospital in a pick-up before he gave up the ghost.

Ghanaians woke up on Friday (June 29) morning to hear the unfortunate news the former vice president has passed on to eternal glory after he died at 37 Military Hospital soon after he collapsed at Airforce Gym during a workout session.

To this end, the Paramount chief of Akyem Abuakwa took to Facebook to detail how Amissah Arthur died since he was present when everything transpired.

According to the Okyehene, the former Vice President who died on Friday, 29 June 2018, was transported to the hospital at the back of a pick-up. “There was no ambulance to convey the former vice president to the 37 Military Hospital.”

As it’s been for 14 years, any time I go there, I meet my friend and we’ll talk, shake hands … and then go to our different machines… I heard ‘bang’! Three women in the gym were screaming, I left my machine and went and there laid my friend trying to find some air to breathe.

“We gathered around him and pumped his heart as hard as we could, yelled out his name; his wife was calling out: ‘Jesus, save him!’ I just said: ‘call the ambulance, let’s take him to the hospital.’ There were about seven, eight of us, and something dawned on me. When we took him out, there was no ambulance, there was no car, so we threw the former vice-president in the back of a pick-up and drove off to 37.” Okyehene narrated

However, Stan Dogbe dispelled the ‘cock and bull’ story of the revered chief whilst he set the record straight.

Here’s what he said:
