Recently the President of Ghana put a ban on social gathering hence the shut down of churches and schools.
The ban on churches raised lot of other issues and concerns, some pastors didn’t like the idea which most people think it is because of their offering.
Some pastors however put out mobile money numbers for church members to send their offerings and tithes.
This move made some Ghanaians furious, saying these pastors don’t care about their members and instead of them trying to help by sharing hand sanitizers they are just thinking of the money.
It was based on this that Pastor Brian Amoateng, leader and founder of the iYes decided to do a live video to address the issue.
But some of his comments didn’t go down well with people, especially his comment about offering and the church sharing sanitizers.
He said it is not the church’s responsibility to share hand sanitizers because the church members give offering.
After being back-lashed, the Pastor has come back to apologize and according to him it was an hour video which he was teaching people about offering and urged people to go watch the full video.
