Patapaa has finally received a form consolation from Huawei Ghana for his viral song, One Corner which shockingly failed to clinch the Most Popular Song of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held last week.
The Swedru-based musician was widely tipped to win that particular award hands down but in a bizarre twist, Fancy Gadam took the Most Popular Song of the Year
The issue became topical with several Ghanaian sating categorically that Patapaa has been cheated. Perhaps Huawei Ghana were observing the trend and in a music concert held last night (April 21) at the National Theatre, the company adjudged One Corner
The company wrote on their Twitter page:
