Ghanaian actress, Joselyn Dumas has made a suggestion about the aftermath of the passing of the e-levy that Ghanaians are yet to witness.

Recall that the controversial electronic or digital taxation termed E-levy was finally passed by parliament after a lot of debates about it.

The bill was passed after the third reading was held at the Parliament House chaired by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin.

According to the majority in parliament, the improvement of the e-levy taxation will aid mobilize funds to facilitate the development of the country. This e-levy will see to the taxation of all financial transfers.

Well, it seems the passing of the e-levy has triggered the very first move of Ghanaians to stay far away from the digital way of transferring money. According to Joselyn, many Ghanaians are rushing to empty their wallets in a bid to escape the ridiculous charges.

This directive, she claims will bring Ghana back to the cash system. In other news, the e-levy will be the end of digitization.
