According to him, most Ghanaians feel reluctant to come to the house of God simply because of economic hardship under the rule of the New Patriotic Party and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

He stated that he is not the only one complaining about the depletion of church members in his church but some of his colleagues have also expressed their concerns and worries about the same issue.

“Since this system came into place, the church has never been the same, it is not with me alone, I have colleagues who are complaining of the same concerns. People can’t come to church because of hunger,” he said.

He added that he has no intentions to rebuke the government or speak against them but he sole purpose as a minister of God is to speak the truth about what is going on and not be judgmental.

“I don’t pray against but for those in authority as instructed by the Bible. Mine is to tell them the truth about ongoings but not to be judgmental. I’m relatively a young man but I haven’t seen such hunger…I don’t attack the government, I only tell them the truth, there is so much hardship and stress in the system, but I want to assure that on 31st December, we will speak the mind of God,” he added.

As a reminder, the President on 30th October 2022 addressed the nation on the current economic issues. Most Ghanaians were not pleased with some of his utterances as they claim the president provided no solution to the disastrous economic retardation.
