Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, King Promise stated that his craft as a musician is not centered on what is being speculated about him on social media by his critics.

He stated that most trolls on social media are usually not happy in their homes, hence would subject anyone to harsh criticism without any just cause.

He further lamented that trolls who never hesitate to berate celebrities and other people on the internet do the worst things in their homes than those who don’t even post on social media, yet they find pleasure in making other people feel displeased about themselves and what they do.

King Promise also stated that most people make insensitive posts on social media for the fun and for likes on social media and he is definitely not a partaker of such ventures.

In other news, veteran Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Richard Kwasi Siaw who is known as Ex Doe has explained why he never joined the social media community for years.

In an interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV’s United Showbiz, Ex Doe stated that he earned his fame and accolades in the music industry when social media was not in existence.

He said that he became a household name and thrived in the music game without the assistance of any digital platform, hence he presumed he could have still sailed through successfully when he emerged once again in the music scene.

However, he realized that social media became a very important tool in life since all business discussions could be held successfully on the platform.

He said most of his recent shows and deals were secured through the digital space and even though he has not been that interactive on the platform, he hopes to gain grounds within the space to project his craft.
