Popular radio presenter, Dr Pounds of Hitz FM has made some donations to A.M.E Zi on School in the Central Region of Ghana to commemorate his birthday which fell on Nov.1
The boisterous on-air personality, who is affectionately called ‘Accra’s Evening Mayor’ donated a set of football jerseys, books and wall clocks for the school.
Dr Pounds posed with some of the beneficiaries and the excitement written all over their faces explained how overwhelmed they were with the gifts.
Gestures like this go a long way to alleviate poverty in some of these remote places whilst creating a congenial atmosphere to facilitate the learning process.
